About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer to serve and safeguard clients at a biotech company in Rensselaer, New York. The role involves providing customer service while carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Officers respond calmly to incidents and critical situations and conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. Full-time schedules are available across all shifts and days. Pay is $21.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age for this role, as stated in the posting.
Have a valid driver's license; a driver's license is required for driving positions.
Have at least one year of security experience.
For unarmed roles, be at least 18 years of age; for armed roles, be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have five years of verifiable experience.
Submit to a background investigation, subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
