Security Officer Full Time Visitor Registration
About The Position
As a full-time Security Officer in Concord, California, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries including financial institutions. In this front desk role, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge processes, monitor entry activity, and provide customer service and communication. Your visible presence will help deter security-related incidents while supporting a professional and welcoming environment. The schedule is Monday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM. The pay rate is $25.45 per hour. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, to the extent permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations. A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of security-related experience.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements may apply prior to employment under state and/or local laws and regulations.
- A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet.
- Experience with access control and badge systems.
- A guard card or license.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or customers at the financial institution’s front desk by following site-specific procedures and security policies.
- Monitor access by greeting visitors, verifying identification and authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests according to established procedures.
- Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and/or delivery records and communicate access-related concerns to appropriate site contacts.
- Monitor lobby activity and security-related systems, and report unusual activity, access concerns, and equipment issues according to site procedures.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, including initiating appropriate emergency response activities.
