About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer for a commercial real estate location in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The role involves patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, supporting access control, and providing customer service and communication to tenants, visitors, and vendors. The officer uses computer or tablet tools to document activities and assist visitors and tenants. The schedule is Monday and Wednesday, 12:00 AM–8:00 AM. The pay rate is $17.25 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents, property concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and observe building activity.
Document incidents and communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Support a professional, welcoming environment while following established post orders and applicable procedures.
