About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed patrol officer at a residential location in Fort Lee, New Jersey. The officer will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide professional customer service to residents and visitors. The role includes daytime schedule listing with overnight shifts on Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Pay is $19.43 per hour.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
Loss prevention experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be 21 or older.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements depend on state and/or local laws and may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Guard card or license preferred.
Customer service experience preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, resident concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, entry points, parking areas, and the property perimeter.
Monitor access and verify visitor authorization according to site procedures; report unusual activity or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
Accurately document incidents, observations, and patrol activity, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
