About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a university location in Cheyney, Pennsylvania. The officer will help safeguard the campus and support a welcoming environment by patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, providing customer service, responding to incidents, and documenting observations and patrol activity using computer or tablet systems. The role pays $17.95 per hour and is scheduled Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation, consistent with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors while following site-specific procedures and policies and carrying out emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established campus protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns to appropriate campus personnel.
Accurately document observations, incidents, and patrol activity, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and client representatives.
