About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location in Charlotte, North Carolina. The officer will safeguard the property through routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff. The role includes following site-specific procedures and emergency response protocols, monitoring access points and visitor activity, responding to incidents and alarms, and documenting patrols and observations.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements imposed by state or local laws and regulations, which may be required before employment.

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff while following site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of property interiors, common areas, parking facilities, and exterior perimeter areas, identifying and reporting unusual conditions.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in accordance with site-specific protocols.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, provide directions and assistance, and report security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for patrols, incidents, and observed conditions.
