About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer for a retail location in Amarillo, Texas. The officer will safeguard clients and visitors by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and providing customer service. The role involves communicating with shoppers, employees, and site leadership while supporting a welcoming environment. The schedule is Friday and Sunday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The pay rate is $17.00 per hour, with weekly pay.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and the perimeter.
Monitor for unusual activity, potential hazards, and policy violations, and report observations to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and incident documentation in accordance with site-specific procedures.
