About The Position

As a full-time unarmed patrol security officer in Katy, Texas, you will serve and safeguard clients at a chemical/petrochemical location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, help deter security-related incidents, and support access control operations. The role involves providing customer service and clear communication while contributing to a welcoming, professional environment. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Pay is $14.71 per hour.

Requirements

At least six months of security-related experience.
Comfortably use a computer or tablet.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable law.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements depend on state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Carry out site-specific security procedures, policies, access-control requirements, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production-support areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, and potential hazards.
Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain entry records, and direct personnel, contractors, and visitors in accordance with site requirements.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel as directed.
Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and designated client representatives.
