About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced for an assigned distribution center site in Fulton, Missouri. The role provides a fixed weekly anchor shift requiring a six-month commitment, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform. Additional shifts may provide the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week, with flexibility to scale back. The listed pay rate is $16.28 per hour. The schedule is Sunday, 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The Security Officer provides customer service and carries out security procedures, site policies, and emergency response activities. Duties include responding professionally to incidents and alarms, conducting unarmed patrols of facility and surrounding areas, monitoring access and credentials, keeping visitor logs, and documenting and communicating relevant observations and incidents.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet state and/or local licensing requirements if required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution facilities, warehouse areas, parking lots, trailer yards, access points, and perimeters.
• Monitor site access by verifying visitor, contractor, and driver credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and reporting access-control concerns.
• Accurately document incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
