About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed Security Officer Enhanced for an assigned site in Marcy, New York. The role provides consistent scheduled hours, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company’s scheduling platform. The assigned weekly shift requires a six-month commitment. Employees may build up to a full-time schedule of as many as 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back. The pay rate is $16.90 per hour. The listed shift is Monday, 1:00 AM–8:30 AM.

The officer provides customer service and performs site-specific security procedures, patrols, access monitoring, incident response, observation, and reporting. Employment is conditional on a background investigation and, to the extent permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing may be required under applicable state or local rules.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old for an unarmed role.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required before employment, subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel while following site-specific security procedures and carrying out emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, parking lots, access points, trailer yards, warehouse perimeters, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the distribution location, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and complete required reports.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, damaged property, policy violations, and other security-related concerns to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
