About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Patrol Observation in Corona, California, at a food and beverage distribution location. The part-time role provides a fixed weekly assignment and consistent base hours, with the option to claim additional shifts at the assigned site or other sites. The fixed assignment requires a six-month commitment. Employees may increase their hours up to 40 per week and can scale back when needed. Pay is $20.00 per hour.

The scheduled anchor shifts are Friday and Saturday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Duties include customer service, carrying out security procedures and site policies, responding to incidents, conducting unarmed patrols, monitoring access, and accurately documenting and communicating observations. Applicants are subject to background and drug screening as permitted by law. State or local licensing may be required before employment.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, escalating information according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, contractor, and delivery driver entry procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Accurately document observations, incidents, and patrol activities and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
