About The Position

As a Security Officer - Driver supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Eugene, Oregon, you will help safeguard the site while providing customer service and clear communication. The role involves conducting vehicle and foot patrols, maintaining a visible presence, monitoring access, responding to security situations, and reporting observations. The position is full-time and scheduled overnight from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Pay is $22.00 per hour. The site has limited on-site facilities, including portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations, following established escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random vehicle and foot patrols of the business, perimeter, access points, and designated areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor visitor, employee, and contractor access in accordance with site-specific requirements; verify credentials and maintain activity logs as assigned.
Communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management through required reports and documentation.
