About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Armed Enhanced Security Officer in Bennettsville, South Carolina. The position provides a reliable weekly shift at an assigned site, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company’s scheduling platform. The designated anchor shift requires a six-month commitment; additional shifts can provide opportunities to increase earnings and work across multiple sites. The role may offer a path to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back.

The listed schedule is Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, and the pay rate is $15.00 per hour. The officer will provide customer service, carry out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities, conduct armed patrols, monitor access points, respond to incidents, and carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws and company and site policies.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeters to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, contractors, vendors, and delivery drivers according to site policies.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, company policies, and site-specific procedures.
