About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring an armed Security Officer for a part-time enhanced position at an assigned food and beverage production location in Bennettsville, South Carolina. The position offers a designated weekly shift as a reliable base schedule, which requires a six-month commitment. Officers may claim additional shifts through the scheduling platform, with opportunities to increase hours up to 40 per week and scale back when needed. The stated pay rate is $15.00 per hour.

The role involves providing customer service while performing security procedures, responding to incidents and alarms, patrolling the facility and surrounding areas, monitoring access, documenting activity, and maintaining firearm qualifications and assigned equipment. Applicants must be at least 21 for armed roles and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicants are subject to background investigation and drug screening as permitted by law, and must participate in security-related training. Licensing may be required under applicable state or local rules.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations while following post orders and armed response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the food and beverage production location, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitor, vehicle, and contractor activity according to site procedures.
• Maintain required firearm qualifications and handle assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws, company policy, and site-specific requirements.
