About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time armed Security Officer Enhanced in Cincinnati, Ohio, to provide security at a financial institution. The position offers a fixed weekly anchor shift at an assigned site, requiring a six-month commitment. Officers may claim additional shifts through the scheduling platform, with the option to increase hours up to 40 per week or scale back. The listed shift is Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Pay is $28.00 per hour, paid weekly.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor facility access and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, remaining aware of activity at entrances, banking areas, and restricted locations.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security concerns.
• Accurately document incidents, observations, and daily activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
