Security Officer Full Time Patrol Customer Relations
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed Patrol Officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Wilmington, Delaware. The role serves and safeguards employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by conducting patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, supporting access control and badge activities, and providing customer service. The officer uses computer or tablet tools for daily operations and communicates professionally with employees and visitors. The scheduled shifts are Wednesday 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, Thursday 10:00 PM–6:00 AM, Friday 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, and Saturday 2:00 PM–10:00 PM. The pay rate is $20.46 per hour.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior areas, parking locations, access points, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual conditions or security concerns.
- Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and authorized entry procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts or emergency responders as directed.
- Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related events.
