About The Position

As a part-time Security Officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Bethpage, NY, you will provide a professional front desk presence and help maintain a welcoming and secure environment. You will greet visitors, manage access control and badge procedures, monitor entry activity, and provide customer service. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Greet visitors, confirm appointments, and direct guests according to site-specific procedures.
Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and vendors while carrying out security procedures, access-control policies, and visitor management requirements.
Monitor lobby activity, visitor sign-in processes, and access points, and report unusual activity or access concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following site-specific emergency response procedures.
Maintain accurate visitor, delivery, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.
