About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location in Atlanta, Georgia. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers. The role emphasizes customer service, clear communication, reporting observations, and responding to routine needs. The position pays $16.39 per hour. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Applicants must meet the stated age and education requirements and are subject to background investigation and drug screening. State or local licensing requirements may apply.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, loading docks, parking areas, and shipping and receiving locations.
Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies.
Report unusual activity, damaged property, and access concerns to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
Prepare clear and timely activity, incident, and shift reports.
