About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer for badge administration and access control at a manufacturing and industrial location in Bearden, Arkansas. The officer will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a secure environment for employees and visitors. The role emphasizes customer service, clear communication, visibility, and helping deter security-related incidents. The position is scheduled Saturdays and Sundays from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM and pays $14.25 per hour, with weekly pay.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Monitor access points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry records.
Control access to restricted production, warehouse, loading dock, and administrative areas according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations, escalating concerns according to established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, building exteriors, parking areas, loading areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
