About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer for badge administration and access control at a logistics and distribution location in Earth City, Missouri. The role helps safeguard the site by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing badge access, and providing customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors. The officer remains visible, communicates professionally, reports security concerns, and follows site procedures. The stated schedule is Monday and Sunday, 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The pay rate is $18.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements imposed by applicable state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, drivers, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and driver logs, and direct authorized traffic to designated areas.
Respond calmly to access-related incidents, delivery disruptions, and critical situations, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership, complete required reports, and follow procedures for key, badge, and gate access.
