About The Position
As a part-time Security Officer in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, you will help safeguard a logistics and distribution location. You will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, and document visitor and delivery activity. Through a visible presence and professional communication, you will help deter security-related incidents and support smooth operations. The role emphasizes teamwork, integrity, reliability, and a people-first culture. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The pay rate is $18.54 per hour. Candidates must be at least 21 years old for this position and have at least one year of relevant security experience. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Applicants are subject to background investigation and drug screening as permitted by law.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while following site-specific access-control procedures and security policies.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and driver logs, and control access to restricted areas.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including the business, perimeter, parking areas, loading docks, and trailer yards, as applicable.
- Respond calmly to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations, following site-specific emergency response procedures.
- Promptly and accurately report security observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns according to established procedures.
