Security Guard Patrol Badge Administration
About The Position
As a Security Guard Patrol Badge Administration in Plano, Texas, you will serve and safeguard clients in commercial real estate and other industries. In this unarmed patrol role, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and support badge and access-control activities. You will provide customer service and clear communication while using computer or tablet tools to document observations and assist visitors. The position is full-time and scheduled Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, at a pay rate of $18.41 per hour.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
- Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access-control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property personnel by following security procedures and site-specific policies and, when appropriate, taking part in emergency response activities.
- Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations according to established site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, common areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location; report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with company and site requirements.
- Support badge and access-control activities and assist visitors.
