Security Officer - Armed Patrol
About The Position
As a Security Officer Armed Patrol in Morganfield, Kentucky, you will serve and safeguard clients in a healthcare setting. You will conduct routine armed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. The role includes providing customer service and clear communication while responding professionally to security needs. The position is full-time and pays $20.00 per hour. The scheduled shifts are Monday and Tuesday from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Wednesday from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and Sunday from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
Requirements
- Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
- Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
- Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

- A valid firearms permit is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff while carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, and conduct emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond calmly to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations by following facility protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout interior areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and assist with controlling entry to restricted areas in accordance with site-specific requirements.
- Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and unusual conditions to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
