About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer Armed Patrol in Spartanburg, South Carolina, to support a financial institution. The role involves armed patrols and a visible security presence, along with professional responses to security concerns. It is a driving post focused on dependable support, clear communication, and customer service. The position is scheduled Tuesday through Thursday from 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM and Sunday from 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM. Pay is $22.00 per hour. Applicants must meet armed-role age requirements, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with company policy for driving positions. Employment is subject to applicable background investigation and drug screening requirements, and applicants must participate in industry-specific security training. State or local licensing may be required before employment.

Requirements

At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
A valid driver’s license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Participation in industry-specific security training programs.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to drug screening to the extent permitted by law.
State and/or local licensing may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a financial institution.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established site protocols.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and the business perimeter.
Monitor access to restricted areas and verify credentials as required.
Report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
Complete accurate reports and maintain required documentation.
Coordinate with law enforcement and/or emergency responders when directed.
