About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer for a reception access desk in Lithia Springs, Georgia. The officer serves as a welcoming, professional presence, supports access control and visitor management, and handles security-related communications. The role helps maintain an organized environment while providing customer service and responding to security concerns. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The pay rate is $17.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least two years of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and performing emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor access points, greet and direct visitors, verify credentials, and maintain visitor logs according to site procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
Receive and route calls, communications, and deliveries while staying aware of front desk activity.
Document incidents, unusual activity, and visitor information according to site-specific requirements.
