About The Position

As an Armed Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location in North Little Rock, Arkansas, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while supporting site operations through teamwork and integrity. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM. The position is full-time and pays $19.18 per hour, with weekly pay.

Requirements

At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet licensing requirements that apply under state and/or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor access points and verify identification, access credentials, visitor registrations, and delivery appointments according to site procedures.
Control entry and exit for employees, contractors, vendors, and commercial vehicles, and maintain accurate visitor, driver, and access-related records.
Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site-specific procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, business spaces, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized access and identify unusual conditions.
