Security Officer Full Time Driver - Financial Company
About The Position
As a full-time unarmed security officer at a financial institution in Brooklyn, New York, you will help safeguard the client by conducting routine patrols, monitoring access points, and maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal’s driver policy. The role calls for professional customer service and communication while working with a team that acts with integrity. The position is scheduled Sunday and Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The pay rate is $27.00–$28.00 per hour. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, to the extent permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and may need to be met before employment.
Requirements
- At least one year of security-related experience.
- Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to financial institution clients by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond calmly to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access as directed by site policy, and maintain accurate activity and incident documentation.
- Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, contractors, and responding personnel.
