About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer Patrol Driver for a financial institution in Brooklyn, New York. The role involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, supporting a welcoming environment for employees and visitors, providing customer service, communicating professionally, and responding to security-related concerns. The schedule is Wednesday and Thursday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The pay rate is $27.00 to $28.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience.
Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, to the extent permitted by law, a drug screen.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

A state-, county-, or city-issued security license.
Customer service experience.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter, identifying and reporting unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
Monitor access points and verify visitor, employee, and contractor authorization according to site-specific procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts or emergency services as directed.
Prepare accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports while maintaining professional communication and confidentiality.
