About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed Security Officer for a healthcare location in Easley, South Carolina. This driving position involves safeguarding patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while providing customer service and helping maintain a welcoming environment. The officer conducts routine patrols, monitors access and visitor activity, responds to incidents and emergencies, and communicates with site personnel and emergency responders. The schedule has not yet been assigned and will be determined during hiring, onboarding, and training based on business needs. The position pays $18.69 per hour and requires at least 30 hours of work per week.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required for this driving position.
• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for an unarmed role.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• A state-, county-, or city-issued security license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations, following protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, provide directions and wayfinding assistance, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy violations.
• Complete accurate reports and communicate clearly with Allied Universal leadership, site personnel, and emergency responders as needed.
