About The Position

As a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location in Garfield Heights, Ohio, you will help safeguard patients, visitors, staff, and the facility. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment. The role calls for outstanding customer service and clear communication, with integrity, teamwork, and care. The schedule is Sunday and Monday through Thursday, 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM. The pay rate is $17.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, checking credentials as required, and directing patients and visitors to appropriate locations.
Accurately document observations, incidents, and response activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.
