About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed Security Officer at a hospital in Rock Hill, South Carolina. The officer will safeguard the healthcare facility by monitoring and patrolling assigned interior and exterior areas, maintaining a visible presence, supporting access control, and communicating professionally with patients, visitors, staff, and contractors. The role may involve assisting with sensitive situations and responding to incidents and emergencies while providing compassionate customer service.

The scheduled hours are Wednesday through Sunday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The pay rate is $17.91 per hour. Applicants must meet hospital vaccine requirements, be able to work in a hospital morgue, and be able to restrain individuals when necessary. Employment is conditional on applicable background investigation and drug screening.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations; notify appropriate hospital personnel or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior healthcare facility areas, including entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directing people to appropriate departments.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities according to site-specific reporting requirements and Allied Universal procedures.
