About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced for an assigned site in Breinigsville, Pennsylvania, at a food and beverage production location. The role provides a designated weekly anchor shift that requires a six-month commitment, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform. Hours may vary week to week, with the opportunity to build up to 40 hours per week and scale back when needed. The listed shift is Saturday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Pay is $15.25 per hour.

The officer provides customer service and supports site security by following site-specific procedures and access-control policies. The position involves monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials and visitor authorization, keeping visitor logs, protecting restricted areas, responding to incidents and alarms, and conducting facility and perimeter patrols. The site has limited on-site facilities, including portable toilets and rustic guard shacks. Training is provided for company-specific software and tools.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21 years old.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
• The posting lists computer or tablet proficiency and prior customer service experience as preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel at a food and beverage production location while following site-specific procedures and access-control policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor logs, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
• Control access to restricted production, storage, loading, and administrative areas, and report unauthorized entry attempts or unusual activity.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations by following site-specific emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and loading zones; document observations and report security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
