About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Site Patrol in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients across a range of industries. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to situations, communicate professionally with visitors and team members, and deliver customer service. The position is full-time and pays $16.00 per hour. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Sunday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Experience with access control and badges.
• Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
