About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Security Officer in Whitsett, North Carolina, to support a technology-focused location. The officer will help safeguard the site by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, and providing professional customer service to employees and visitors. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM, and pays $16.89 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of office areas, campuses, parking facilities, loading docks, and perimeter locations.
Monitor access points, visitor activity, and deliveries; verify credentials and direct individuals to appropriate locations.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
Document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities accurately and promptly in required reports and logs.
