About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed patrol response Security Officer in San Antonio, Texas, serving a financial institution. The officer maintains a visible security presence, conducts routine patrols, communicates professionally with employees and visitors, and provides customer service. The role is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, at a rate of $19.67 per hour. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Applicable licensing requirements may need to be met before employment. A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet licensing requirements that apply under state and/or local laws; licensing may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations, following reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and responding personnel while supporting a professional environment.
