About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed patrol response Security Officer for a financial institution in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and contribute to a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. The role emphasizes customer service, clear communication, professionalism, teamwork, and integrity when responding to security concerns. The schedule is Monday and Tuesday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The pay rate is $25.00 per hour. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for an unarmed role.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation, consistent with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements imposed by applicable state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following site protocols and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual conditions to appropriate site contacts.
Accurately and promptly document incidents, observations, and patrol activities according to company and site reporting requirements.
