About The Position

As a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a logistics and distribution location in Colorado Springs, Colorado, you will help safeguard clients by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and providing customer service and communication. The role involves responding to incidents and access-control concerns, monitoring access points, verifying authorized entry as directed, and accurately documenting observations and activities. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 12:00 PM–12:00 AM. The pay rate is $17.81 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable law.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements applicable under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of loading areas, docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points, verify authorized entry as directed by site policies, and report unusual activity or conditions to appropriate personnel.
Accurately document observations, incidents, and patrol activities and complete required reports in accordance with company and site procedures.
