About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer to support a government location in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The officer will help safeguard the site by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, reporting security concerns, and providing professional customer service and clear communication. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The pay rate is $15.00 per hour. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is contingent on a background investigation and a drug screen, to the extent permitted by law. State or local licensing may be required before employment.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at government facilities, following site-specific procedures and security policies.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas, identifying and reporting unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and assist with visitor screening, credential verification, and entry procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and emergency responders as directed.
Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrol activities, and security concerns.
