About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer for patrol and route monitoring at a commercial real estate location in West Jefferson, Ohio. The officer will safeguard clients, monitor assigned areas, maintain a visible presence, and provide professional customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and team members. The scheduled shifts are Wednesday through Sunday, 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for an unarmed role.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements imposed by state or local laws and regulations; a license may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required only for driving positions.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations, documenting observations and actions according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of property interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, building entrances, and perimeter areas.
Monitor access points and building activity, and report suspicious behavior, property concerns, and maintenance issues to appropriate site contacts.
Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift communications.
Help maintain a professional and welcoming environment for occupants and guests.
