About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer to support a logistics location in Johnstown, Ohio. The role involves routine and random patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitoring assigned areas, and providing customer service and communication. Work includes carrying out site-specific security procedures and responding to incidents and emergencies. The stated schedule is Monday and Thursday through Sunday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment.
- Undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
- Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
- Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.
- Monitor assigned areas.
