About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced in Topton, Pennsylvania. The role provides consistent hours at an assigned site on a designated weekly shift, with a six-month commitment to that fixed shift. Officers may claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform, allowing hours to vary and potentially increase up to 40 hours per week.

The officer supports security operations at a manufacturing location, providing customer service and carrying out site-specific access-control, security, and emergency-response procedures. The position requires at least one year of relevant, verifiable security experience and a valid driver’s license. The scheduled shift is Sunday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Pay is $17.00 per hour.

Requirements

• At least one year of relevant, verifiable security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located; driving positions require a valid driver’s license.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Any required licensing is subject to state and local laws and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while following site-specific security procedures, access-control policies, and emergency-response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue badges as directed, and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access to the manufacturing location, following procedures for deliveries, contractors, and restricted areas.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access areas, production-adjacent spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
