About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced for an assigned site in Mabelvale, Arkansas. The position provides a fixed weekly schedule of Wednesday and Thursday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a six-month commitment to the assigned site and shifts. Officers may claim additional shifts through the scheduling platform, potentially building up to 40 hours per week while retaining the option to scale back. The role is at a logistics and distribution location and involves access oversight, customer service, patrols, incident response, and accurate documentation. Pay is $15.24 per hour, paid weekly.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license only if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, contractors, and employees while carrying out site-specific security procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points; verify credentials and delivery appointments; maintain visitor and contractor logs; and direct authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
• Respond calmly and effectively to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, trailer yard, business areas, and perimeter to identify and report security concerns, unauthorized access, and unusual activity.
• Accurately document daily activities, incidents, and access-control events according to site procedures.
