About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Entry Authorization for an assigned resort location in Carmel, California. The role provides a fixed weekly anchor shift, with a six-month commitment, and the option to claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform. Additional shifts may offer the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week, with the flexibility to scale back. The pay rate is $21.57 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; it is required for driving positions.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements imposed by applicable state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff while following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor entry, and maintain accurate access-control logs.
• Respond professionally to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of resort areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify unauthorized access or unusual activity.
• Communicate professionally with resort staff, guests, vendors, and emergency responders while supporting a welcoming environment.
