About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Enhanced Security Officer for an assigned manufacturing and industrial site in Dodge Center, Minnesota. The role provides a designated weekly shift as a dependable base schedule, with a six-month commitment to that assignment. The officer may claim additional shifts through the company’s scheduling platform, with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week and scale back when needed. Pay is $20.22 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday, 7:45 PM–6:00 AM.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor site access by verifying visitor and contractor credentials, maintaining entry records, and directing guests according to site procedures.
• Report maintenance concerns, hazards, suspicious activity, and other security-related issues to appropriate personnel.
