About The Position

As a Security Officer and Access Control Coordinator in Boca Raton, Florida, you will serve and safeguard clients in a residential community. You will manage entry points, verify visitor and resident access, monitor assigned areas, and provide welcoming customer service. The role requires a visible presence, professional communication, and helping deter security-related incidents while supporting a positive community environment. The position is full time and pays $15.76 per hour. The schedule is Monday and Tuesday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing may be required before employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors while carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, maintain visitor and vendor logs, and communicate access concerns according to site procedures.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations, resolving problems and escalating matters as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, gates, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Document daily activities, incidents, and access-control exceptions in clear, accurate reports, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
