About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer for access control at a commercial real estate location in Lewisburg, Ohio. The officer will monitor entry points, verify authorized access, maintain a visible presence, and help deter security-related incidents. The role also supports tenants, visitors, contractors, and staff through customer service and clear communication. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM. Pay is $17.84 per hour, paid weekly. No prior experience is required. The position includes paid training and access to opportunities for career growth.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and employees by following site-specific access-control procedures and policies, and performing emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor access points and verify authorization for individuals entering or exiting the location according to established procedures.
Issue, collect, and document visitor credentials, contractor passes, and access cards, maintaining accurate access-control records.
Respond calmly to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized access and report security-related concerns.
