About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer serving as an Access Control Coordinator in Atlanta, Georgia. The role helps maintain a secure environment by managing badge access, verifying authorized entry, monitoring assigned areas, and responding to security-related concerns. It also involves providing customer service and clear communication to create a professional experience for visitors and personnel. The position is scheduled Wednesday through Sunday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and pays $17.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and conducting emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
