About The Position

As a Security Officer in a financial institution setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to security-related concerns. The position is full-time and pays $19.50 per hour. The scheduled shifts are Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, notifying appropriate personnel as required.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to identify unusual activity and deter unauthorized access.
Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site procedures, maintaining accurate logs and documentation.
Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and first responders, and report observations and incidents to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
