About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed patrol Security Officer for an aerospace and defense location in Fullerton, California. The role involves driving and requires an active DoD Secret Clearance and a valid driver’s license. The officer will help safeguard the site by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, monitoring access and visitor activity, responding to incidents, and providing customer service. The position is scheduled for swing shifts on Saturdays and Sundays from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, at a rate of $20.84 per hour.

Requirements

An active DoD Secret Clearance.
A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors while carrying out site-specific security procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity according to procedures for a controlled aerospace and defense location.
Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities for Allied Universal and site leadership.
