About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer for a driving patrol role at a chemical and petrochemical location in Marcus Hook, Pennsylvania. The officer will safeguard clients and provide customer service while monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, and helping deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located. The listed pay rate is $29.12 per hour. The schedule is 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located is required for this driving position.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing may be required before employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in accordance with site protocols and reporting requirements.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, access points, and designated operational areas.
Monitor access by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and vehicle activity, and directing authorized personnel according to site requirements.
Complete activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications accurately.
Promptly report hazards, equipment concerns, and policy violations to site leadership.
